How To Be Truly Vulnerable
Hey Hey path hunters,
Todays guest is one I look up to very much so. A speaker that has inspired me to take the leap of faith and take a trip to Thailand. He works with orphans in different parts of the country, an Inspirational Speaker, Writer, Filmmaker and has shared the stage with people such as the Dalai lama and Richard Brandson. My guest today is Philip Mckernan everyone.
Chatting with Philip was truly amazing, I learned so much from him and he shared so many insights on some of the things we talked about things such as working with self-doubt, vulnerability, dealing with the past and so much more!
In this episode Philip talks about how to deal with the self-doubt and allowing yourself to feel it and moving beyond that by getting out of your own way and focusing the on the impact and changing peoples lives for the better.
He talks about how most people today are using vulnerability today as a way to manipulate, and a way to connect. I really love his perspective on how to be truly vulnerable, and that is by doing the inner work and settling with it.
Dealing with the past
Dealing with the past is choosing not to let it affect your future, when most people consciously tell themselves “they’ve settled it” but not knowing that they haven’t resolved it yet.
Truly dealing with the past and choosing not to let it influence the future is one thing Philip shared on this episode.
Writing a book for yourself
One thing I asked Philip is that currently I’m working on a book of my own and while writing this book I sometimes wonder if this is going to be great and if it’s meant to impact people or not? Am I qualified? All these questions but understanding that bringing down the expectation down and writing this book for yourself and talk about the journey.
I got a chance to talk to Philip about some of his projects he has going on and all the work he has to share with the world.
